Love Wins, Hate Loses

When the riders of this subway boarded, they noticed that all of the ads and maps had been covered with swastikas and anti-Semitic vandalism. One man said mentioned that alcohol gets rid of sharpie and, so, the entire train of strangers banded together to erase the messages of hatred. It just goes to show that evil can never win as long as good people are willing to stand up for what’s right.


The Secret Balcony on The Empire State Building

The Empire State Building attracts millions of visitors each year in NYC, especially its observation deck on the 86th floor and the 102nd floor ‘Top Deck.’ But what people don’t know that there is another observation deck on the 103rd floor available only for photographers and VIPs. So, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande took a good use of their privilege to snap some photos there.


Hooverville: Central Park’s Shanty Town

It’s hard to believe, but during the Great Depression, entire swaths of Central Park were overtaken by homeless workers who, in ramshackle huts made of wood and metal, struggled to survive in the crisis. Though gone today, these pictures of the little village called “Hooverville” stand as a testiment to the desperate times of the 1930’s.
