Drawing someone from memory is tough and so, when it’s time to make a human animated character, the folks at Disney do things the old-fashioned way. Come meet the flesh and blood people behind the famous ink and paint creations!
Dear sweet Zues, I do love Disney movies, but being the sick sadistic bastard I am, I often can’t help but look for the dark clouds in Disney’s silver linings. Can’t help it… Ever since I was a little kid, I wondered how long Snow White will stay married to a dude who molested her in her sleep. It was then that I realized that Disney movies can be ruined by the stunningly light application of logic to the sugary sweet situations that we are presented with.
I am a mystery, baby, that cannot be solved for although I kind of like it when a lot of people die on the 10 o’clock news, I also enjoy the sickeningly sweet sing song Disney universe, so when someone in this cute and cuddly universe gets offed for the sake of the story, I’ll admit it… it makes me hard.

A house lifted into the sky by balloons could never really happen, right?
Cartoons are so much nicer than reality.
Walt Disney responds to a fan who credits him with the wrong thing.
Back in the old days of Disney the studio would cut cost by recycling animation over and over again.
The movie, Atlantis: The Lost Empire – formerly just called Atlantis until Disney figured that people were too stupid to know what Atlantis is – is the movie I’ve been waiting years for. I thought I was going to see it with Titan A.E., but I didn’t. I thought I was going to get it with Heavy Metal 2000, and I was sorely disappointed. In fact, I’ve been waiting for a movie like this since I first saw the heavily edited version of the original Heavy Metal on TBS many many years back.
