Rare Photos of the Aftermath of the 1905 Kangra Earthquake

Although little known today, the 1905 Kanga Earthquake of Northern India is one of the deadliest on record with a death toll of nearly 20,000.  The 7.8 quake was so powerful that literally every building in Kangra, Mcleodganj and Dharamshala was destroyed, bridges were toppled, and roads crumbled.
