Spring of 2013 officially sprang at 7:02 AM on March 20th and, a little over 40 minutes later,  NOAA’s GOES-13 satellite captured this beautiful photo that shows the significance of that day - a day when the Earth's tilt gives an equal amount of the sun's energy reaches the Northern and Southern hemispheres.
