After my stint as a political cartoonist, I was hired as the cartoonist for a local magazine in 2001 that would highlight the rock and country music scene in San Angelo.  The strip called, "Oil and Water" was about a cowboy and a metal head who hung out together for some reason.  The publication only lasted a month before it fell into financial ruin, but one of my strips did get published and I've managed to hang on to the unpublished installments.
