China’s Fake Paris

http://slightlywarped.com/chinas-fake-paris/

We’ve seen the fake Disneyland in China, but did you know that China is also copying cities now?  All right, that’s not fair… this counterfeit Paris in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, wasn’t built on orders from the government, but rather by a real estate company called Zhejiang Guangsha in 2007.  The village was made to look like Paris to attract wealthy homeowners, but the town now has a population of just two thousand people as many people are not able to afford the houses in this area.
