Bullets Collided in Mid-Flight

This strange hunk of metal was found in the Ukraine and turned out to be quite a piece of unusual history. The metal hunk is actually two bullets — one fired by a French soldier and one by a Russian, back in the 19th century — which collided in flight and melted together.

The chances of this happening are very slim, but sadly with the number of bullets we shoot at each other every year, this does happen quite a few times.  The trick is actually finding them.
