Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is reluctant to become the show it needs to be, but it’s getting closer and closer everyday and that’s a good thing.  You would think that, in a universe of superheroes, you would have a superhuman team to take on superhuman threats, but no… Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. clung to its ridiculous idea that viewers would rather watch normal people in the Marvel Universe instead of people who can fly and shoot laser beams from their assholes.

1200Now, finally, they’re getting it.  The Inhumans joining the team is finally making this goddamn show interesting and I cannot fathom why its’ taken three season for this shit to happen.

The team goes to Colombia to track down an Inhuman and discovered a woman who can run really really fast and assist her to take some weapons off the street of her home country.  Meanwhile, Coulson and S.H.I.E.L.D. is welcomed by by the United States Government and Phil gets a big ol’ justice-boner at the thought of taking down Gideon who, unbeknowst to Coulson but knowst to us, is keeping undead Ward as his new best friend and pet.

I loved the Inhuman story.  It gave us a bunch of cool action scenes, I cared about what was going on, and I liked the new character they introduced.  Will someone please tell me why these guys are only on reserve?  Seriously, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., accept that you need to be a superhero team series and just fucking do it already!

I enjoyed Phil’s storyline as well and how for he was willing to go just to step on Gideon’s toes.  I know that it’s all going to come back and bite him in his ass, but it was still a lot of fun.

All right, here’s what I’m sick of.  Jemma, you can take your feelings for Fitz and shove them up your ass.  Fitz is a goddamn treasure of a human being who’s been spilling his heart to you for three years and you play with him.  YOU PLAY!  You don’t deserve this absolute prize of love and devotion and I’m so goddamn sick of seeing him get strung around by you and your awkward feminine wiles.

Seriously, I think I hate her.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is still the Marvel Universe at its most okayest, but they’re getting to where they need to be… kicking and screaming, apparently, but at least it’s happening.
